'When life gives you lemons, see that you have sugar before making a lemonade'

Hello this is Bibek, and let me introduce myself on a personal level.

I was born and raised in Nepal, a small proud country in Asia, known for being the birthplace of Lord Buddha and home for Himalayas. Although I am not a Buddhist or an avid climber, I am proud to be Nepalese and love to represent the culture and food around the world. I am someone who loves diversity and always looks forward to getting to know people, their culture and most importantly their FOOD.

As you might have noticed, I am a foodie and I love to try different cuisines. I was fortunate to have friends and colleagues from different parts of the world- who introduced me to their food. Also being a student helped a lot. Every now and then there would be cultural events on campus, where I could get to try different things and get inspired by the culture. As a moderate cook myself, i have had the opportunity to actually introduce my food to my friends, colleges and other students on campus. Cooking is something that I am passionate about and I spend most of my weekends cooking for my friends and family.

I love being around people I care about and am always open for new connections. I am dedicated at my work and what I do, but do not like restricting myself to that. I have always been matured and diligent, but I feel everyone needs a break - a personal time. For me, at the end of the day - its all about being happy and satisfied with my life. You have be me matured and have ownership in what you do, but at the same time you need to allocate time for yourself, and your loved ones. Finding the right balance is difficult, but hey at least give it a try. 

I think of myself as an optimistic and try to see past the struggles in life. I have had my share of struggles and emotional breakdowns, but what drives me is my family and my loved ones. I try to see struggle as a phase that  cannot be skipped or something I can go around. Hence I try to ride the wave, because if i don't, I know it will swallow me.
